1. What has brought the petitioners before this Court is a grievance on account of pendency of their application of allotment of piece of land and activities initiated for construction over the land in respect of which the petitioners have applied for allotment.
2. Without going into the details of the case, at this stage in view of the stand which has been taken by the respondent-State and the submission made by learned counsel for the State, I deem it expedient to dispose off the petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to take decision on petitioners' application for
-2allotment of the said land, on its own merits and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
