1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is in respect of functioning of the respondent no. 4.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent no. 2 has not taken appropriate steps in ensuring that the election of the respondent no. 4-club is conducted in accordance with by-laws or rules governing the field. He further submits that on an earlier occasion also, this Court in WPC No. 4327/2019 directed the respondent no. 2 to take appropriate steps at the earliest. However, till date election has not been finalized and it is over a year that no election has been held of the said respondent no. 4-club.

3. Learned Addl. Advocate General also at this juncture submits that the respondent no. 2 can be directed to ensure that the election of the respondent no. 4 club is conducted in accordance with the by laws or rules at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by the Addl. Advocate General, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to take all necessary steps in accordance with rules governing the field, so far as respondent no. 4 is concerned, to conduct the election at the earliest.
