This is the first bail application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.249/2015, registered at Police StationSupela, District-Durg (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Section 20(B) (ii) (b) of the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act. 2.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case; further taking into consideration the nature and gravity of offence and recovery of 2 kg. of contraband article ganja from the possession of the applicant, this Court is not inclined to release the applicant on regular bail. 3.

Accordingly, bail application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. is rejected. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
