1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is in respect of the non-granting of the revised pay scale from time to time and also not granting of the time scale pay/Kramonnati on completion of 8 years and 10 years of service and 12 years and 24 years of continuous service. In terms of the circular governing the field issued by the respondents.

2. According to petitioner he was regularised in service as early as on 29.05.1992 and he has retired from service w.e.f. March,

2019, thereby he had put in around 26 years of service and he was thus entitled for the revised pay scale as also the benefit of time pay scale/ Kramonnati on completion of the minimum length of service on a particular post.

3. According to the petitioner in spite of repeated representation to the respondents the authorities had till date not taken a decision.

4. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be sub-served keeping the writ petition pending. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed off directing the respondents No.2 to 4 to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for revised pay scale as also for the time scale pay on completion of 8 years/10 years of service and 12 years/24 years of service. The claim of the petitioner shall be decided after due verification of the service records of the petitioner and also on due scrutiny, of the entitlement of the same so far as the petitioner is concerned.

5. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed off. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest by the respondents No.2 to 4 within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
