1. This petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of order dated 6.6.2017 passed in Writ Petition (PIL) 80 of 2017.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite specific direction of this Court to respondent No.6 in the writ petition to examine complaint and take suitable steps in the matter, till date, no step has been taken despite lapse of more than 6 months.

3. We find that the direction was issued to the Chief Municipal Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Belha, to examine the complaint and take suitable steps in the matter. Though no specific time limit was framed, the concerned authority was required to complete the proceedings within a reasonable time. More than Six

-2months is too long a period. However, as no specific time limit was fixed, instead of initiating any proceeding against the respondent, we like to specify that respondents shall now conclude the inquiry as directed by this Court at the earliest, within an outer limit of 2 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already completed. The decision should be taken within the said period, failing which, it will be open for the petitioner to revive the petition.
