Grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not absorbing the service of the petitioner in the Education Department as per circular dated 30.6.2018. 2.

According to the petitioner, he has been appointed on 19.6.2010 as such he completed 8 years of continuous service on 18.6.2018, that is before the State Government took a decision on 30.6.2018 and as such there is no reason why the petitioner should be left from absorption.

Given the limited contention of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present writ petition pending, rather, ends of justice would meet if the writ petition itself is disposed of with a direction to respondents no. 2 and 3 to take an appropriate decision so far as absorption of the petitioner in the Education Department is concerned at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The respondents no. 2 and 3 shall be at liberty to take a decision in accordance with the policy of the State Government governing the field of absorption.
