1. Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the State Government on 22-7-2015, placing the petitioner under Suspension in exercise of powers under Rule 9 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966 (for short 'the Rules, 1966').

2. The order under challenge is appealable under Rule 23 of the Rules, 1966.

3. In view of the availability of alternative remedy, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy within a period of 30

days from today. If the appeal is preferred, the appellate authority shall consider and decide the same at the earliest, preferably within a period of three months.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
