1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for grant of regular pay scale from the date of his initial appointment.

2. The respondents in their return at paragraphs 4 & 5 have categorically held that the case of the petitioner and other similarly placed persons was considered by the respondents and the regular pay scale has been granted to the petitioner from 12.11.1980 onwards vide order dated 26.07.2012.

3. Given the aforesaid fact, this Court is of the opinion that the substantial grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and the writ petition,

therefore, stands disposed of.

4. The liberty of the petitioner however stands reserved to approach the respondents in the event of any further claim/grievance of the petitioner still survives.
