The present petition was filed seeking for a direction to the Respondent to consider the case of the Petitioner to be appointed on the regular post of motor vehicle driver.

The Respondent has now moved I.A. No.02, an application for disposal of the writ petition intimating that in due course of time the Petitioner has been granted appointment vide order dated 14.02.2017 posting him on the regular post of motor vehicle driver, placing him initially on probation for two years. Copy of the appointment order is also enclosed.

Respondent in its application submits that in the light of order of appointment being granted to the Petitioner nothing further remains to

be adjudicated upon.

In view of aforesaid submission and in the light of order of appointment dated 14.02.2017 enclosed along with I.A. No.02, this Court does not intend to keep this petition pending any further. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of holding it to have become infructuous. 5.

Needless to mention that the Petitioner shall be at liberty to raise his grievance in case the order of appointment or the submission made by the counsel for the Respondent is not acted upon. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) JUDGE chandra
