1. This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of order dated 17.04.2018 passed by this Court in WPS No. 13 of 2006.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that despite a clear direction given by this Court that the period from 06.10.1969 to 30.06.1978 shall be counted for the purpose of service and the aforesaid period shall be treated as continuity in service, for the purpose of grant of benefits, determining length of service as also for pensionary purposes, till date orders have not been passed.
3. It appears that the authorities are taking undue advantage of the fact that there was no time bound direction of the order passed by this Court on 17.04.2018. The authorities were obliged under the law to extend all the benefits, to which, the petitioner is entitled in view of the clear direction given by this Court in para-11 of the order dated 17.04.2018.
4. Let necessary orders be passed within 60 days by the Secretary, Department of Food and Civil Supplies, Bhopal, State of Madhya Pradesh.
5. If the necessary orders in compliance of the order of the Court are not passed, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive with the direction of this Court.
6. A copy of the contempt petition be placed before the competent authority for necessary compliance.
