1. Aggrieved of the action on the part of the respondents in granting wrong fixation of pay to the petitioner, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. According to the petitioner, the persons who are similarly placed in the department are drawing basic salary of Rs.35,400/- whereas erroneously the basic salary of the petitioner has been fixed at Rs.28,700/-. According to the petitioner, she has already approached

the authorities by making repeated representations but till date no decision has been taken.

3. Counsel for the petitioner prays that as of now the writ petition may be disposed of directing the respondents 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision on the pay discrepancies of the petitioner as compared to the similarly placed persons.

4. To the limited prayer State counsel does not oppose.

5. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of directing the respondents 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Sd/- P. Sam Koshy Judge Khatai
