The present contempt petition has been filed against the alleged non compliance of the order dated 30.06.2017 passed in WPS No.2768 of 2017.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he had already sent proposal in favour of the petitioner for complying with the order, however, because of certain objections raised by the higher authorities, it could not be processed within time and now that he has cleared the objections and has also again forwarded the rectified order on 11.04.2018.

In view of the submissions so made, this court does not intend to proceed further with the contempt petition and it is directed that pursuant to letter of the respondent dated 11.04.2018, let the Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts & Pension take an appropriate decision on the said proposal within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to bring it to the notice of the Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts and Pension, in respect of order of this court.

No order as to costs.
