Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only grievance of the petitioner is that confiscation proceedings have remained pending since 30.10.2009, but till date no action has been taken.

In view of the aforesaid submission, without commenting on merits of the case and considering that confiscation proceedings have remained pending for the last five years, it is directed to the authority to decide the confiscation proceeding as early as possible preferably 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
