1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been placed under suspension on 21-5-2010, neither suspension has been revoked nor any departmental enquiry has been initiated against the petitioner.

2. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Bilaspur, within seven days from today and in turn, the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Bilaspur is directed to consider the case of the petitioner

for revocation of suspension in light of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of Ajay Kumar Choudhary v. Union of India (UOI) and others1, decided on 16-2-2015, within ten days thereafter by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
