Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 31.01.2017, the Assistant Transport Commissioner, Raipur has remanded the matter to the Taxation Officer but till date the Taxation Officer has not decided the matter against which petitioner has also preferred representation which is also pending consideration since 23.02.2018, hence this writ petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the Taxation Officer is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's case expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order after hearing the parties.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
