In the reply filed by the respondent, it has been stated with reference to various documents that in so far as respondent is concerned, he has complied with the order passed by this Court to the extent of finalizing pay scale/pay revision/pay fixation, preparation of pension case and forwarding the same to the Joint Director, District Treasury, Baloda Bazar. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that further steps towards finalization of pension are required to be taken by the District Treasury Officer, Baloda Bazar. 2.

Considering the aforesaid reply, it appears that as far as reply is concerned, no further action is required to be taken at this stage, until pension case of the petitioner is finalized by the District Treasury Officer, Baloda Bazar. Therefore, Rule issued against the respondent is discharged. Let pension case of the petitioner be finalized in the spirit of the order passed by this Court on

01-08-2017 in WPS No.3482 of 2017, by the District Treasury Officer, Baloda Bazar. If pension case of the petitioner is not finalized within a period of two months, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate proceedings against those officers, who have been responsible for non-payment of pension of the petitioner.
