1. Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that her land was acquired for widening of the road in the year 2018, however no amount of compensation has been paid to her till date.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that recently, the communication has been made on 26.03.2021 by the SDO PWD Manendragarh wherein it revealed that the case to grant compensation against the land acquired has been initiated.

He submits that at this moment since the compensation case has been commenced, the State may be directed to conclude the same and disburse the amount to the petitioner within a specified period of time.

Considering the letter dated 26.03.2021 which prima facie purports that the compensation case has been opened as against the land qua the owners to grant the compensation for the acquisition made, therefore in view of such document, no purpose would be served to keep this petition pending. Under these circumstances, the State is directed to conclude the case of the compensation of the petitioner within three months and may further disburse the amount within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
