Transfer order dated 31.08.2017 was assailed by the petitioner contending that he had been transferred six times within a period of 15 months.

This Court, by order dated 14.10.2017, had stayed the order of transfer.

It is submitted by Mr. Roy that on the strength of the aforesaid interim order, the petitioner is continuing on the very same place from which he was sought to be transferred.

Four years have already gone by and therefore, the transfer order has spent its course.

In that view of the matter, the respondents will not implement the order of transfer dated 31.08.2017. However, liberty is reserved to the respondents to pass such orders, as may be called for, in the interest of public service and administrative exigency. 7.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
