1. Learned State counsel would submit that the order dated 17-4-2017 rejecting the petitioner's application for permission to cut the trees is appealable under the provisions of Section 44 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959.
2. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be allowed to prefer appeal before the appellate authority.
3. The petitioner is permitted to file appeal before the appellate authority and appear before the said authority within ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Certified copy of the impugned order be returned to counsel for the
petitioner on his submitting a duly attested Photostat copy of the same.
5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
