This petition has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the alleged improper deduction from the GPF account by way of certain withdrawals, which the petitioner does not accept and disputes.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Accountant General submits that the GPF payments have been made to the petitioner on the basis of the entries with regard to the part withdrawals made by the petitioner from time to time. He submits that these entries have been forwarded to the Office of the Accountant General from the petitioner's employer and therefore, it cannot be disputed. 4.
The petitioner is raising factual dispute with regard to withdrawal entries. This involves factual enquiry. Considering that the petitioner is a retired employee, all that can be done is to direct the respondents to re-verify the entries. The petitioner shall submit a list of disputed entries separately in the office of Accountant General by way
of an affidavit. The disputed entries shall be verified by seeking information from the department of the petitioner. The department shall do well to obtain necessary information regarding disputed entries from the disbursing officer concerned. If after this exercise, if any amount is found due and payable to the petitioner, the same should be paid to the petitioner as early as possible preferably within a period of six months.
