1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made an application dated 17.03.2020 for extension of period of parole, which may be directed to be considered.

3. Mr. Ravi Bhagat, learned State counsel would submit that the concerned District Magistrate, Bilaspur (C.G.) would consider the application in accordance with law.

4. Be that as it may, District Magistrate, Bilaspur is directed to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated 17.3.2020 (Annexure P/1) within 7 days from today.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of.

However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
