1. The limited relief that the petitioners have sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent no. 2 for considering the application that the petitioners have filed for getting their land demarcated through the Assistant Land Superintendent.

2. The limited relief sought for by the counsel for the petitioners is not

-2opposed by the State counsel.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioners claim the property which situated at Khasra No. 1029/1/1 is owned exclusively by them and they have moved an application for demarcation of land through Assistant Land Superintendent to the respondent no. 2 which till date is pending. Considering the limited relief that the petitioners have sought for, the writ petition stands at this juncture stands disposed off, directing the respondent no. 2 to take an appropriate decision on the application that the petitioners have filed for getting their property demarcated through the Assistant Land Superintendent in accordance with law and it is also directed that the respondent no. 2 shall direct the Assistant Land Superintendent to carryout the demarcation in-accordance-with law within the stipulated period under the guidelines. In case if the petitioners are still aggrieved, they would be at liberty to approach the competent court of law for redressal of their grievance.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
