1. The transfer order is under challenge on the ground that while transferring the petitioner from Manendragrath to Ambikapur, the policy of the Govt. to keep the husband and wife together as far as possible, subject to administrative exigency has not been kept in view.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and his wife both were posted at Manendragarh. Now the petitioner has been transfered to Ambikapur and his wife has been posted in Sarguja district at the option of District Education Officer. It is also informed that wife of the petitioner had also filed a petition WPS No.4872 of 2016 which has been disposed off on 19.9.2016 with a direction to consider her posting at one or nearby place where

-2the petitioner/husband is posted.

3. In view of the above disclosure, I am not inclined to pass any order in this case because there is already a direction given by this Court in the case of petitioner's wife to post her at one or nearby station where the petitioner has bee posted. However, a copy of this order may be placed by the petitioner before the competent authority who is going to post the petitioner's wife in education district- Ambikapur.
