1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the land belonging to the petitioner situated at Khasra No.734/1 & 734/4 measuring 480 square feet has been acquired by the respondents for construction of Shrikant Verma road. According to the petitioner, till date she has neither been given alternative land in exchange nor been given any

compensation in spite of repeated representation being made to respondent no.2.

2. Counsel appearing for respondent No.2 Municipal Corporation submits that the representation of the petitioner shall be positively decided in an objective manner within a period of 3 months.

3. In view of the statement made by the counsel for Municipal Corporation, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to consider the claim of the petitioner for land in exchange of the land acquired or appropriate compensation which the petitioner is entitled for under the law, at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
