1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's vehicle bearing registration number CG 16 A/0367 has been seized stating inter-alia that against two other buses owned by him taxes are due, whereas those other two buses have already been sold by the petitioner and

against the vehicle which has been seized at present there is no tax due to the petitioner.

2. On the other hand, learned State Counsel would oppose the writ petition.

3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents appended with the writ petition.

4. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, no tax is due against vehicle bearing registration number CG 16 A/0367 him and other two vehicles owned by him have already been transferred in favour of other persons. Therefore, it would be appropriate to direct the petitioner to make a representation to respondent No.2/District Transport Authority, Korea, who shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation within two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and respondent No.2 shall consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
