The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of Order dated 23.8.2018 passed in WPS No.5392/2018. 2.

Learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1 submits that so far as Respondent No.1 is concerned he has done his part in complying with the Order of this Court and the DPC has duly been constituted. The DPC however in the course of meeting found certain discrepancies in the rules governing the field and thereby the matter was sent to the Government level and where further instructions have to be released from the State Government on the basis of which the promotion process could be finalized and initiated further.

Given the facts by Respondent No.1, this Court is of the opinion that the Order of this Court stands complied with. However, in case the grievance of Petitioner is still not redressed, the right of Petitioner stands reserved for approaching the Court afresh by way of a fresh proceeding. 4.
