1. The applicant have been arrested in connection with Crime No.501 of 2017 registered in Police Station- Civil Lines, District- Raipur, Chhattisgarh, for the alleged commission of offence under Section 392 IPC.
2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the applicant looted golden chain from the victim.
3. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant has been falsely implicated. He did not commit any offence. CCTV footage are manipulative and cannot be relied upon as a reliable evidence. Therefore, the applicant may be granted bail.
4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State opposed the bail application. He would submit that looted ornaments have been seized from the possession of the applicant which have been identified by the victim and the applicant is
-2habitual offender of commission of similar offence and about 18 cases of similar nature have been registered against him. Therefore, the applicant is not entitled to grant of bail.
5. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, considering the material available on record, no case for grant of bail is made out.
