1. The petitioner retired from service w.e.f. 30.06.2017 from the post of Subedar (Ministerial) working under the Police Department in the State of Chhattisgarh. The grievance of the petitioner is that, though he has been retired on 30.06.2017, till date the respondents have not cleared the retiral benefits payable to him. He draws attention of the court towards document enclosed in the petition which shows that even the office of Accountant General has issued authorization letter for the department to release the retiral dues payable to the petitioner, yet the respondents have not released the same.

2. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, let the retiral dues payable to the petitioner be issued within a period of 45 days from today. The respondent No.1 shall conduct an enquiry as to why the retiral dues have not been paid to the petitioner inspite of authorization letter being given by the office of Accountant General way back in June, 2017. The erring officer should be proceeded departmentally.
