The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and prayed for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 & 3 to trance missing girl- Rashmi and to handover her in custody of her father/petitioner as early as possible.

This Court vide order dated 09.04.2019 directed the State counsel to inform this Court about steps taken by the police for search of daughter of the petitioner and to submit report on 16th April, 2019. In pursuance of the direction issued by this Court, the State has filed report as well as return submitting that the petitioner's daughter has already been married legally and living with her husband, therefore, the grievance of the petitioner has lost its efficacy.

Since, daughter of the petitioner is living with her husband, therefore, this writ petition has become infructuous. 4.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
