1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is in respect of non-granting of House Rent Allowance (HRA) to the petitioner during the period from 01.10.2008 to

11.08.2017 when the petitioner was working as a Sub-Engineer and posted in District Bilaspur.

2. According to the petitioner, he has made repeated representations to the authorities concerned in this regard which are still pending consideration.

3. Given the said limited dispute and also taking note of the fact that for deciding the same, verification of the records would have to be done, this court is thus of the opinion that let respondent no.2 scrutinize the case of the petitioner as to whether he was entitled for HRA during the said period or not, if yes, the representation of the petitioner be suitably decided and an appropriate relief also be given to the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
