The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 54/2018 registered at Police Station - Mahasamund, District-Mahasamund (CG) for alleged commission of offence under Section 20 (B) of N.D.P.S. Act.

Case of the prosecution is that the applicant and co-accused were travelling in a vehicle from which more than 30 Kg Ganja was recovered. 3.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated. He had only given the lift to the co-accused who was carrying certain bags, contents of which were not intercepted, coaccused ran away from the spot and the applicant apprehended in the vehicle. There is material progress in the investigation and therefore detention is not necessary.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State opposes bail application and submits that looking to the huge quantity applicant cannot be granted bail.

Considering the quantity of ganja and applicant was driving the vehicle in which commercial quantity of ganja was found, the bail application is rejected.
