1. The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the services rendered by the petitioner under the State Government in the office of Collector, Rewa as Assistant Superintendent (Land Records) for the period between 01.10.1984 to 28.06.1988, where after he had joined the Labour Department of the State Government as a Labour Officer.

2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that before joining the Labour Department he had duly applied for no objection from his earlier employer that was also the State Government and therefore the service rendered in the office of the Collector, Rewa should also be taken as qualifying service for grant of pensionary benefits.

3. The petitioner submits that in this respect he has already made a representation on 17.01.2017, which is pending consideration before

the respondent authorities and which has till date not been decided.

4. Considering the limited grievance raised by the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that let the respondent No.2 take a decision on the representation made by the petitioner at the earliest and pass a speaking order as early as possible preferably within a period of 90 days.
