Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though no specific time for consideration of the case of the petitioner and extension of the benefit as directed by this Court, even after 31⁄2 months, no decision has been taken.

Though this Court has not fixed any specific time, the respondents are required to take decision within a reasonable time. Considering that no decision has been taken after 31⁄2 months, it is directed that respondent - Corporation shall pass appropriate order in compliance of the Court order within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of order, which is now being passed. If it is found that despite order of this Court no order is being passed, this Court may be constrained to initiate contempt proceeding against the responsible officer.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
