1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.25/2020 registered in Police Station Kunda, District Kabirdham for offence under Section 20 (B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. The applicant was found in illicit possession of 6 kg of contraband Ganja when a search was made of his white coloured Sumo Vehicle on 1.3.2020.

3. Considering that the applicant is in jail since 1.12..2020, charge sheet has already been filed and further considering the quantity of

MCRC No. 2714 of 2021 contraband recovered from the present applicant and there is no previous antecedents, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.

4. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
