Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner's application for grant of stage carriage permit has been rejected by the respondent authorities without following the mandate prescribed under Section 80(2) of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (for brevity 'Act of 1988'). 2.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make an application before the said authority inviting his attention to Section 80(2) of the Act of 1988 and, in turn, the said authority shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's said application expeditiously in accordance with law. 3.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
