Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that being aggrieved by the order passed by respondent No. 2 - Excise Commissioner, Raipur, the petitioner has filed an application for review before respondent No. 2 which is pending consideration since 27.06.2016 and has not been decided till date.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 2 - Excise Commissioner, Raipur, is directed to take decision on the petitioner's application for review / revision expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
