1. The present petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking for a direction against the respondents for grant of higher pay scale/revised pay scale and also a direction to the respondents to consider counting of past services rendered by him for the purpose of granting seniority.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that identical writ petition i.e. WPS No. 5215 of 2016 filed by one Demendra Kumar Sahu has been disposed of by this court on 27.09.2016 whereby this court has directed the respondent No.2 to examine the claim of the petitioner for grant of next higher pay scale and the other benefits sought for.

3. Counsel for the petitioner prays that this petition may also be disposed of in similar terms as of WPS No. 5215 of 2016.

4. Learned counsel for the State, on verifying the facts submits that the case of the petitioner is also identical in nature as that of WPS No. 5215 of 2016 and therefore, this petition may also be disposed of in similar terms.

5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of in terms of order dated 27.09.2016 passed by this court in WPS No. 5215 of 2016. It is directed that the respondent No.2 shall consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with rules governing the field and pass a speaking and reasoned order so far as claim of the petitioner is concerned within an outer limit of three months from the date of presentation of the certified copy of this order by the petitioner to the competent authority. No order as to costs.
