1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.23/2021, registered at Police Station Vidhansabha, District Raipur for the offence punishable under Sections 294, 506(B), 323, 307 of the IPC and Sections 25, 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The applicant had gone to the house of his friend Kiran, where

MCRC No. 2694 of 2021 the victim was also present. In a dispute between the applicant and Kiran, the victim intervened, on which, the applicant caused injuries over her neck by means of knife causing incised wound.

4. Considering the genesis of the offence and for the fact that the applicant has no criminal antecedents and is in jail since 18.1.2021 and the charge sheet has already been filed, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on regular bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
