1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of interim bail applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.204/2020, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Bilaspur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The applicant is a lady, aged about 29 years, having 31⁄2 year old daughter, who is living with her maternal grandmother.

Applicant has allegedly misappropriated the amount of electricity bill, which she collected from the consumers, but did not deposit the same with the Chattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL).

4. Learned counsel appearing for the State would oppose the interim bail application.

5. Considering the fact that the offences are triable by the Judicial Magistrate First Class and further considering the fact the applicant is in jail since 15-3-2020, I am of the opinion that present is a fit case to release the applicant on interim bail.

6. Accordingly, the interim bail application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on her executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned on duty remand Magistrate for a period up to 15th May, 2020. The applicant shall surrender before the concerned Court on 16th May, 2020 positively.

7. Accordingly, M.Cr.C.No.2205 of 2020 stands disposed of.

8. Consequently, I.A.No.1 for exemption from filing certified copy of the bail rejection order dated 23-3-2020 and I.A.No.2 application for urgent hearing of interim bail, during the Lockdown period due to outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic, stand disposed of.

9. Certified copy as per rules.
