1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.14/2020 registered in Police Station Anti Corruption Bureau, District Bilaspur for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act for illegally demanding Rs.1500/- from the complainant for the purpose of correction of name and date in the Time Scale Pay Order.

2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the age of the applicant and the fact that he is in jail since 18.3.2020, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the

applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned on duty remand Magistrate. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
