1. The order under challenge has been passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, North Bastar Kanker in exercise of powers under the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. The order is appealable under Rule 15 of the said Rules.

2. In view of the availability of the alternative remedy, the writ petition is not maintainable.
