This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of order dated 16.06.2016 passed in WPS No.2180 of 2016. A reply has been filed by the respondent and copy of order dated 15.09.2016 has been placed on record which shows that certain reasons stated in the order where the petitioner's claim for regularization has been rejected.

Though learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order is not correct and in accordance with law, that is not a matter of consideration in contempt proceedings. All that this Court had directed that either the petitioner should be regularized or if he is not regularized, a speaking order should be passed clearly stating the reason for his non-regularization and should be communicated. A speaking order has been passed and the order has been communicated. Therefore, the order of this Court has been complied with. The contempt petition is therefore dismissed however with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order by which his claim for regularization has been rejected.
