The petitioner's grievance is that even though the petitioner has complied with the transfer order and joined at the new place of posting on 01.09.2016, he is neither being alloted any work nor he is being paid his salary.

In the absence of there being any order of the State Government keeping the transfer order in abeyance or cancelling the transfer order of the petitioner, respondent No.2 is duty bound to accept the petitioner's joining. At this stage, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 to allow petitioner's joining and pay salary. However, if
-2there is any reason for which the petitioner cannot be allowed to join, respondent No.2 should pass a clear order in writing within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If no order is passed, it shall be deemed that there is no impediment in allowing the petitioner's joining and paying salary.

The petition is disposed off with liberty to revive in case cause of action survives.
