1. Aggrieved of the decision of the respondents whereby the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Lecturer (Physics) has been rejected, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. Perusal of records would show that the requirement as per the advertisement for the post of Lecturer (Physics) was Post Graduation or equivalent to Post Graduation in Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics. In the instant case the petitioner is a candidate who has done his Engineering Course and has also done Master Degree in Engineering. Perusal of documents enclosed along with the writ petition it would clearly reveal that Master Degree of the petitioner has been done on the subject Digital Communication.
3. Given the fact that the Master Degree of the petitioner is not in either Physics subject or any of the subjects group mentioned against subject Physics in accordance with advertisement, this court is of the opinion that
-2no strong case has been made out by the petitioner calling for an interference to the impugned decision of the respondents declaring the petitioner ineligible for participation to the post of Lecturer (Physics).
4. The writ petition thus being devoid of merit deserves to be and is hereby rejected.
