1. The dispute in the present Writ Petition is the denial of promotion to the petitioner from the post of Upper Division Teacher/Head Master to the post of Lecturer.

2. At this juncture, the counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to make a detailed representation to the respondents for ventilating his grievance within 15 days and the respondent authorities are directed to consider the same.

-23. The said limited prayer is not opposed by the State Counsel.

4. Accordingly, the respondent authorities shall consider the case on merits within a further period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed off.

6. It is made clear that, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. It is expected that respondents shall decide the case of the petitioner in accordance with the Rules and Regulation governing the field.
