At the outset counsel for the petitioner submits that as of now the writ petition be disposed of directing the respondents to consider and decide their representation Annexure P-4 which is in respect of grant of seniority to the members of the petitioner Union on the basis of Gramin Udyan Vikas Adhikari from the initial date of their appointment for the purpose of counting their services for promotion to the post of Gramin Udyan Vikas Adhikari and Varishtha Udyan Vikas Adhikari.

Given the limited relief that petitioner seeks for without entering into the merits of the case so far as claim of the petitioner is concerned, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent authorities to take appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the rules at the earliest preferably within four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.
