Though the petitioner filed this contempt petition alleging willful disobedience, now learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that an order has been passed by the Committee on 02.11.2016 accepting petitioner's representation for cancellation of his transfer order. Therefore, he does not wish to press the contempt petition. He further submits that direction may be issued to pass suitable orders in view of recommendation of the Committee.

Considering that the representation of the petitioner has been considered favourably, I do not intend to proceed further in the contempt matter. The contempt petition is disposed off however with the observation that the Government shall do well to pass appropriate order in light of recommendation made by the Committee in respect of the cancellation of petitioner's transfer.
