The claim of the petitioner is that the petitioner is entitled for promotion from the post of Assistant Teacher (LB) to the post of Teacher (LB) since the petitioner fulfills all the requisite eligibility criteria required for promotion to the post of Teacher (LB).

According to the petitioner, the department has not taken any steps for promotion. In case, for any reason, the department is not able to provide promotion to the petitioner, at least the petitioner's case be considered for grant of benefit of Kramonnati.

Given the nature of dispute that the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner makes a suitable representation in this regard to the respondents No.4&5, who in turn, shall consider the merits of the representation which the petitioner makes and decide as to whether the petitioner is entitled for promotion. If not, at least the petitioner is entitled for Kramonnati or not. 4.

Let the respondents No.4&5 take appropriate decision at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of representation.
