This is repeat application for grant of bail. 2.
Earlier bail application was dismissed as withdrawn. 3.
The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.224 of 2020 registered at Police Station- New Rajendra Nagar, Raipur, District Raipur (CG) for the alleged commission of offence under Section 294, 323, 506, 34 & 307 of IPC.

Prosecution case is that the applicant repeatedly assaulted on the victim with the help of knife and there was an abdomen injury involving intestine, injury is grievous in nature.

Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant has remained in jail since 08.09.2020 and till date trial is not concluded. He would further submit that except the injury on the abdomen which is said to have involved intestine, other injuries have not been reported in grievous in nature, therefore, at this stage, the applicant may be granted bail. 6.
On the other hand, learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and
submits that the manner in which applicant assaulted with the help of knife, there being grievous injury in the abdomen due to stab involving intestine, it is a serious case.

Considering the submission of learned counsel for the parties, nature of evidence with regard to extent of injury, weapon used, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the applicant. Therefore, the application is rejected. However, if the trial is not concluded within next four months, the applicant may revive the application.
