The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.202/2017 registered in Police Station City Kotwali, Baloda Bazar Distt. Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara (C.G.) for offence punishable under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471/34 of IPC. 2.

As per the prosecution case, co-accused Sonu Sahu alongwith one other co-accused Ashish Tiwari projected himself to be the reporter of India T.V. and collected amount from the gram panchayat so as to broadcast the information and when cheque of Rs.1500/- were given, it was manipulated with the added amount. On the basis of forged cheques different amount of Rs.2,01,500/-, Rs.21,500/-, Rs.11,500/-, 161500/-, were deposited in the account of co-accused Sonu Sahu and applicant and were withdrawn.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that similarly placed coaccused has been released on bail by this court in M.Cr.C. No.691 of 2018 on 4/04/2018, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel do not dispute the fact that similarly placed co-accused has been released on bail by this court in M.Cr.C. No.691 of 2018 on 4/04/2018.

Considering the fact that similarly placed co-accused has been released on bail by this court in M.Cr.C. No.691 of 2018 on 4/04/2018, this court is also inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
